Laser Engraving Laser Marking

Smidgens, Inc. has a new 350 watt laser engraver that can mark wood, fiberboard, and acrylic parts to 39" by 39". Thanks to its high power and precision, it is ideal for all types of decoration, such as cutting, engraving, marking, and microdrilling on all types of materials and shapes. There are many more materials we can mark - just ask! We can do plaques, awards, point-of-purchase signage, jewelry, frames, ornaments, and anything else your creative brain comes up with.

Our top of the line Trumpf marking laser can engrave steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, and precious metals. Industrial applications include product ID numbers, aerial numbers, 17 different bar code styles, 5 2d matrix formats, all data matrix symbols including ECC200 (square and rect), dot code, PDF4178, and QR. Text objects, bar codes and 2D codes can be linked to variables. This laser also has a graphics converter for HPGL, TIFF, JPG, and PCX using gray scale or dithering for the artists that want to create something unique!
